Welcome to the Crain family blog! Our family is me (Natasha), my husband Bryan, our twin toddlers Nathan and Kenna, and two cats, Simon and Zeus. We are expecting baby 3 on September 12!
Every night we still say, "Let's go check on the babies", and ours are 4.5 and 3. So in my mind, there is no reason to stop calling them the babies. :) They will always be your babies!
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy to think that they are almost one! Congrats Mama - you made it through the first year in one piece!!! :O) I remember back pre-babies blogging days when you and I both would wonder if we were going to be any good at being Moms. Time flies. Happy birthday little ones....

Awe, they will always be your babies, but you might find yourself saying 'children' as they grow older. You made it through the first year, with twins no less! my goodness, you've done so great! Happy Birthday Nathan and Kenna, and great job Mom and Dad!
ReplyDeleteWow-I can't believe they're almost 1! It gets easier to refer to them as "toddlers", but I still sometimes call Addie "baby". I probably always will! Enjoy the last few days but be excited about all the fun stuff that lies ahead in the new world of toddlerhood : )
